A beautiful handcrafted African wooden head/bust, sculptured out of Ebony hard wood and polished off to a smooth dark polish. The African hand carved busts stands 22 cm tall and is the face of a young Malawi boy.

The artist that carved this beautiful masterpiece originates from Malawi in Southern Africa.

Malawi is a small landlocked country that borders Zimbabwe in Southern Africa and is well known for it's very large fresh water lake that acts almost as a sea with waves and high and low tide. Along the lake there are many tourist spots that attract people from all over the world and due to this there has become a thriving group of artist that use their talents to hand carved many unusual items for the incoming tourists.

The African Ebony bust is true to the look of the Malawi people as the Malawi tribesmen have very dark smooth skin. The Malawi people are a friendly bunch that stick to themselves mainly and have only lately started to become known to the world for their fine art carvings
