A beautiful African hand carved wooden mask. This handmade wooden mask is carved out of hard Iron wood and polished off to the natural orange/brown color of the wood. This mask has become so popular that we are often out of stock.

The alien like features of the mask show a long forehead with a slimming jaw line which has given to speculation that the ancient artist of Africa modeled their masks on alien like creatures that once visited the earth many years ago.

The artist that carved this tribal mask originates from Zimbabwe and is a member of the Shona people. The iron wood that the Shona artist use is extremely tough to work with and is heavy which makes theses masks very valuable as the wood used is the best.
