Zulu tribesmen are not known for their masks as very few masks have been carved by Zulu tribesmen. In the past instead of wearing masks at traditional ceremonies the Zulu people would dress up in animal furs and bead work. Face painting was also common during the Zulu creameries and although the Zulu like most African tribes, was very respectful to the spiritual Gods they never wore masks at ceremonies. Zulu masks were more used to hang at door entrances to either rebuke evil or to adorn god luck.
