A traditional wooden Zulu drum that originated from KwaZulu Natal in South Africa.

This Zulu drum is a big and heavy drum that has a big drum head that gives off a good deep African drum beat. The Traditional Zulu drum has a Nguni hide drum head and carved around the drum is traditional Zulu patterns and images.

The drum is hand carved and hand painted in deep earth tone colors and smooth polished. These Zulu drums are traditionally used during African ceremonies such as weddings and funerals. This Zulu drum has been carved by respected Zulu crafter's found in the heart of Zululand in small town known as Eshowe
