A large and heavy African hand carved wooden Leopard that has been carved out of Iron wood by the Shona artists of Zimbabwe. Iron woo is a very hard and heavy wood that is found mainly in the Zimbabwe town called Bulawayo.

The Shona carvers that carve African animals out of iron wood are known as some of the most talented carvers in Africa if not the world.

This wooden Leopard is carved in a crouching position and chewing on a piece of tree mimicking the cleaning of teeth by chewing on branches.

The wooden Leopard is a large carving and we are offering 2 options for delivery, either airmail or surface mail. Airmail is quicker but cost more.
