This is a unique mini Zulu drum that is used for ornamental purposes and has been handcrafted out of a monkey apple and Nguni cow hide drum head. The base of the Zulu drum is made from a fruit that is found in the wild and known as a monkey apple.

The mini Zulu drum sits on 3 legs and has to playing clubs. The monkey apple drum base has African patterns carved into the side .

Each African Drum is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the drum as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
