A Zulu artist in South Africa, out of genuine dried Banana leaves has handcrafted this unusual Zulu art picture. The Banana leaf picture has been cut out and stuck onto a canvas backing and can easily be framed and used as a wonderful and unusual African wall hanging.

The Zulu artist uses the natural different colors of the banana leaf to create the different color elements. Leaving the banana leaf to dry, the pigment of the leaf changes and at certain stages the artist then curs the leaf so that it will then remain at that color, giving the artist the different colors needed to create this wonderful Banana leaf picture.

This picture is of an African Zulu village with 3 Zulu Kraal or Hut (a Zulu house) in the middle of the frame with African trees and grass around the Zulu hut. In front of the house 2 young Zulu children are walking home after school and carrying bags on their back.
