African Hand Carved Smooth Ebony Bird Canes

An African Ebony Walking stick that has been hand carved out of Ebony hard wood and set in the natural dark color of the Ebony wood. The wooden cane / walking stick is smooth polished and has a round semi circle handle that makes for easy handling.

The center of the shaft as seen in the close up has a bird carved into the shaft of the wood. The bird is sitting in a bent over position with the beak and the eyes facing foreword toward you. The African cane had tribal African patterns along the shafts and tapers down in a spiral pattern at the base of the walking stock.

This African walking stock originates from a small country in Southern Africa called Malawi, where you can find some of the best carvers in the world who pay particular interest to detail. we have a variety of African tribal canes in our gallery and you are welcome to e-mail us with and any queries or sizes. Ebony wood is a hard wood that is a natural dark color and used by many African carvers due to the hardness of the wood making it strong and a long lasting wood.
