African Hand Carved Soapstone Chess Set

An African hand carved chess set that is carved from soapstone in a variety of colors. The pieces of the chess set are carved in abstract shapes but reassemble the normal pieces of the chess set. The individual pieces range in size from 6 cm to 10 cm.

Each chess set is an "original" work of art, individually handmade, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the chess set as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
