This Ebony couple bust sculpture has been beautifully handcraft from ebony wood. It is an ebony bust of a Zulu man and a Zulu woman with traditional hair styles. Zulu carvers are not historically known for their carving skills and more for their Zulu shields, weapon and bead work but their talent can been fully appreciated in this Ebony bust couple as the carver has further beautified this sculpture by taking full advantage of the natural dark tone color of African Ebony. The bust has been polished by the carver used nothing but a special natural cloth to obtain a high shine, which finishes the Ebony bust couple to perfection.
