Elephant bookends! These brilliantly hand carved wooden bookends are carved out of the wonderful Teke wood and set in the natural color of the wood. The Elephant bookends stand tall at 25 cm and have two African Elephant's carved into the holders of the wood.

The Elephant bookends originate from South Africa and have been carved by a tribal person from the Zulu clan. These bookends are wonderfully hand carved to the highest of standard and make a welcome addition to any home

Teke wood is a hard that makes for brilliant carving and is one of the favorable wood used by carver due to it's ease and not cracking while working. The Elephant bookends show two African Elephants with their trunks held high in a mock charging position
