A unusual African wooden carving of 2 African figures without arm and legs appearing out of the wood. The Wooden figures have been carved by a Shona artist and originates from Zimbabwe. The wood used is Iron wood which his a strong hard wood that is orange in color.

This Iron wood figurine has a male and female Shona couple with the female having a headdress on as is typical of the everyday African.

As the Shona Couple is handcrafted there may be slight differences in the African Shona Couple from the picture. Although carvings will be similar the uniqueness of African arts will mean that no two carvings will be exactly the same in regard to size,color and pattern.
