An African soapstone plate that have been hand carved out of African stone in a square shape. The Soapstone plates originate from Zimbabwe and have been carved by traditional artist of the Shona tribe.

Each plate is smooth polished and has an African animal carved into the stone with natural vegetation and African living in the background. These Shona soapstone plates are colorful and can be hand made in a variety of colors should you wish.

All sizes listed are approximate. The stone plate you purchase and receive may differ just slightly in size, look, and/or color from the stone plate shown in the picture because each carving is handcrafted and hand painted by individual artists
