African Hand Woven Zulu Basket Pot

A Zulu African hand woven basket pot that has been woven out of synthetic fibers in the traditional patterns of the Zulu tribal people. Zulu grass weave baskets have become such sort after items of design in homes around the word that designers have started using them in their designs and these type of Zulu grass weave baskets have reach such high prices.

This Zulu woven basket pot has a woven lid and sits at about 15 cm tall and 15 cm in diameter. The Zulu patterns are set in a Zig Zag style in the natural earth tone colors of Beige, Brown and Black. Each Zulu basket is unique as each one has been handcrafted by individuals that have required their talents from generations before them. Therefore no two basket will be exactly the same which adds to the value of the Zulu basket that you purchase.

We work closely with a group of Zulu women that live in the St Lucia area of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. These traditional Zulu grass weavers use their talents as their only source of income. The Zulu baskets can be made to any size so please let us know if there is a certain size that you are looking for and we will arrange that for you.
