African Hand Carved Abstract Soapstone Embracing Couple Sculpture

African soapstone sculpture at it's best. This soapstone abstract sculpture originates from Zimbabwe and show two Africans embracing each other. The African embracing carving is of a mother and her young child. The mother has flowing white hair and eyes shut while the young child is bald with eyes shut.

The soapstone carving is smooth polished and set in the natural color of the stone. This style of African stone art is known as Shona art as the Shone tribal people of Zimbabwe carve these very modern and desirable stone sculptures.
