Handcrafted African Zulu spear
This Zulu spear originates from South Africa where you will find the heart of the Zulu nation. The Zulu spear has been crafted to the highest of qualities with the addition of Zulu bead work on the shaft of the wooden Spear handle. The beaded Zulu spear has a metal head that is burnt to a black metal color with a Springbuck fur handle grip just under the head of the Zulu spear.
Halfway down the shaft of the Zulu spear you will find Zulu beaded work that is set in the wonderful colors and patterns common to the Zulu culture that has been hand woven onto the spear by traditional Zulu woman.
At the base of the Zulu spear on the opposite side to the spear head is another Springbuck fir grip. This Zulu beaded spear is a common weapon used by traditional Zulu's dating back many years. The Zulu culture is the biggest tribal culture in South Africa and the Zulu is notorious as a brutal fighter. The Zulu spear is usually accompanied by a Knob-Kerrie and both these two weapon would be attached in battle to the Zulu shield.
