This Gimbe drum is handmade from hard wood with a drum skin head attached by small pegs. That drum stands about 60 cm tall and is used by traditional Africans when doing ceremonies such as weddings,funerals,rain dancers etc....There are two type of Gimbe drum. One that has a flat bottom and the other that stands on three tripod legs.

As this wooden Gimbe drum is hand carved the drum that you receive may be slightly different to the picture. All the Gimbe drums come in a variety of patterns and colors and no two are exactly alike

As this item contains animal hide, special permits are required to export the drum. The price of the permit has been included in the postage cost.
