African Handcrafted Traditional Tama Drum

A large African Tama drum that is handmade out of hard wood with a goat skin head. The Tama drum is played by throwing the strap over your shoulder and placing the drum under your arm.

This drum is a unique item and is found in central Africa.

Each African Drum is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the drum as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
