Traditional Zulu drum from South Africa

A traditional African Zulu drum that has been hand carved out of wood and finished off with traditional African Zulu patterns. The Zulu drum has a leather skin head, this is either cowhide or goat skin,and stands on three legs. The traditional patterns are then engraved into the base of the wooden Zulu drum and then color is added to give this drum a true tribal drum feel.

Each African Zulu drum is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the drum as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
