African Hand Carved Bird Cow Horn

A beautiful handcrafted bird that has been crafted out of a single cow horn. The artist uses his skills to cut ,heat and bend the horn in such a way that he is able to sculpture the horn into the shape of a bird.

The bird is free standing and is about 30 cm in height this does vary slightly from bird to bird. The artist that hand carved this African bird originates from South Africa.

Each African handcrafted horn bird is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the horn bird as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
