African Drummer Hand Made Wire Toys

A true African creation. These little wire toys from Africa are of traditional drummer boys and have been used for decades as toys for the African child. The wire Drummer is of a handmade wire person on a set of wheels and a drum placed in front of him.

The wire drummer is played by pushing the wire person forward. There is a handle to allow you to push the drummer. As the drummer boy goes forward the drummer proceeds to bang on the drum with his arms producing a high pitched drumming sound.

Each wire drummer is an "original" work of art, individually handcrafted, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the wire drummer as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
