An African set of Ebony wood salad servers that have been hand carved with the handle of the salad servers having Elephants and traditional patterns into the wood.. The set of wooden salad servers are 30 cm in height and originate from Congo. Ebony wood is a dark black wood that is heavy and tough, it is an expensive wood that is found through out Africa. African carvers have said that this is their wood of choice for wood carving.
African wooden spoons have become sort after items for collectors and make for excellent wall hangings. Each African salad server set is an "original" work of art, individually handmade, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the salad servers as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.
