African Traditional 75 cm Zulu Shield

An African handcrafted Zulu warrior shield that is 75 cm in height. Zulu shieldThis Zulu warrior shield contains the spear, Knob-Kerrie ( Club with rounded head) and the center shaft. The Zulu shield is handmade from cow hide leather with the center shaft containing various animal hide leather wrapped around the top of the center pole.

The total length of the Zulu shield from the top to the bottom of the center shaft is 120 cm.

There are various colored hides available, so should you want a particular color e-mail us and let us know your color choice once you have purchased the shield. If you are not to sure what color you want you may leave this up to us and we will choose the best shield available.

The Zulu shield has been an important part of South African history with the leader of the Zulu tribesmen being the infamous Shaka Zulu. A brutal leader who never feared to take on any battle.

All sizes listed are approximate. The African Zulu shield you purchase and receive may differ just slightly in size, look, and/or color from the Zulu shield shown in the picture because each Zulu shield is handcrafted and hand painted by individual artists
