A beautiful hand carved wooden African Water Buffalo that stands 25 cm in length and carved to extreme detail. The African Buffalo which is part of the big five is an animal with such grace and respect.

The artist that carved this Buffalo originated from KwaZulu Natal in South African and uses iron wood for most of his sculptures. Iron wood is a hard wood to work with as it is really tough and not easily shaped.
