African Hand Carved Wooden Hippo

An African wooden Hippo... This wooden Hippo has been hand carved out of solid wood in a variety of different types of wood. Each wooden African hippo has been individually carved by artists of the Zulu tribe in South Africa.

As the wood used may vary each Hippo will be produced in a different color with certain Hippos being made in a two toned colors of the wood. If you are looking for a certain color hippo such as dark brown or Ebony black let us know and we will arrange that for you.

This wooden Hippo has been hand carved out of Teak wood and is set in the natural Cherry wood color. All the hippo are the same size of about 25 cm in length and polished off to a smooth finish and coated with a natural resin to finish this wonderful African happy hippo off.

All sizes listed are approximate. The African wood craft you purchase and receive may differ just slightly in size, look, and/or color from the wood carving shown in the picture because each carving is handcrafted and hand painted by individual artists
