African Hand Carved Wood Leopard

An African hand carved wooden Leopard...This wooden Leopard is hand carved out of olive wood and then set in the tan color of an African Leopard. The leopard is then covered in tiny brown spots to give this leopard the final realistic touch.

The African Leopard is found in Savanna through out the African continent, but lately due to poaching and illegal gather the leopard has become fewer in numbers and conservation societies have had to step in to protect the Leopard from extinction.

This hand carved olive wood Leopard originates from KwaZulu Natal in south Africa and has been hand carved by a member of the Ndebele tribe.
