A handcrafted African Giraffe from Kenya

This wonderful handcrafted African Giraffe has been crafted out of wood by members of the Maasai tribe in Kenya. The Maasai tribe is well known for their style of carving and their fascination with the spirits of the earthly animals.

The Maasai people often will have animals or animal feature in their carvings as a sign of respect for them. This African Giraffe has been carved out of olive wood with a single standing African Giraffe and head turned to the side.
