African Wooden Warthog

A cheeky African wooden Warthog, This hand carved wooden Warthog has been carved out of the local thorn tree wood by traditional Zulu tribesmen. The Warthog is wonderfully carved with the Warthog standing in a charging position with his tail up straight and his head forward.

The wooden Warthog had been hand carved with detail to every part of his body. The carving is then bashed in black paint. The skin of the Warthog is realistic and not smooth polished to that the Warthogs skin has a ripped effect as a real life warthog would have.

The artist that carved this African Warthog originates from a small town in South Africa called Richards Bay in KwaZulu Natal. This area of the country is full of Warthog and this is where the artists acquires his inspiration
