Springbok horn ostrich egg holder set

Size: Stand is 20cm tall and 25cm wide (this stands includes the ostrich egg)

An African handcrafted Springbok horn ostrich egg holders that have been crafted out of 2 male Springbok horns. The Springbok is a common Giselle found in large herds in Southern Africa and is often hunted for their meat. Springboks are found in abundance and not on any protected list.

All our Springbok horns are obtain through legal gather and we are registered with KZN Wildlife that allow us to use the by-products to make these beautiful African Ostrich egg holders. We only have a few of each selection of these Springbok horn ostrich egg holders.

The Springbok horn holder has a scrimshaw ostrich egg in the center that is sold with the egg and stand together. The egg is of the big 5 animals sketched into the egg in a scrimshaw style.

Each Springbok horns holder is handcrafted so there will be slight variances from one holder to the next as this is the nature of this type of craft.

Below is a selection other ostrich egg holders made from various material from natural horns or warthog tusk to beads and wood. See below for more information.

We have a large variety of African decoupage ostrich eggs in our gallery for you to view.
