African soapstone heart shaped bowls

A unusual African soapstone bowl that have been hand carved out of African stone in a heart shape. The Soapstone bowl originate from Zimbabwe and have been carved by traditional artist of the Shona tribe. Each bowl is smooth polished and has an African animal carved into the stone with natural vegetation and African living in the background.

These Shona soapstone bowls are set in the contrasting colors of white and black.

All sizes listed are approximate.

Because of the nature of handcrafted African art each soapstone bowl set will be similar but not identical to the picture. There will be slight variances between each stone plate set which adds to the uniqueness of the each individual African soapstone bowl set.
