These zebra tails are from the Burchell Zebra , also known as the Plains Zebra. These offcuts are from hides that have been used in either making of cushions or the leather used in upholstery. Tails have been used in African culture for many years in making of fly whisks or flyswatters. They have been used by Samgoma's when doing traditional ceremonies

Today tails and tails hair has been uses in may crafts including bangles, bracelets and necklaces
