An African ostrich egg holder that is made to fit any size ostrich egg. The holder is handmade from 3 olive wood legs carved in the shape of warthog tusks or teeth that are held together with golden wire. The tips of the olive are finished in African Nguni cow bone. The wooden ostrich egg holder stands at 10 cm tall and makes any ostrich egg look that little bit more classy. The ostrich egg sits on top of the three bone legs and is made so that any ostrich egg will be able to sit on top.

Each ostrich egg holder is an "original" work of art, individually hand carved, no two are exactly alike which adds to the value of each piece. The original nature of tribal art will be reflected by variances from the ostrich egg holder as shown, each piece of a specific style is similar, but not identical.

These ostrich egg holder can be used with either the bone caps facing up or the wooden legs standing up.
