An African handcrafted soapstone Giraffe bookend that originates from Zimbabwe and has been carved by Shona artists from the town of Bulawayo. The Giraffe bookends have been crafted to the highest of standard and show an African Giraffes bending over and drinking water.

The Soapstone Giraffe has been smooth polished to a high gloss. Soapstone is a stone that is favored by the Shona artists and makes for excellent carving. Shona carvers are known as some of the most talented carvers in the world and their work is found often in galleries.

Because of the nature of handcrafted African art each animal stone bookend will be similar but not identical to the picture. There will be slight variances between each animal stone bookend which ads to the uniqueness of the each individual animal stone bookend.
