A selection of African handcrafted wire plates that have been crafted by Zulu woman of South Africa . The colorful plates are made from telephone wire that has been woven into each other and set with traditional African patterns and designs. These style of plates have become hugely popular and are a very time consuming to make.
The artist has used her skill handed down from Zulu basket weaving to use this modem material to make wonderfully bright colored Zulu plates.
