An African wooden Hippo.

This wooden Hippo has been hand carved out of solid Teak wood in Zimbabwe by crafter's from the Shona tribe. The crafter's are from the second biggest town in Zimbabwe known as Bulawayo. These wooden hippos are carved to a realistic look, then smooth polished and set in the natural colour or the wood.

All sizes listed are approximate. The African wooden hippo you purchase and receive may differ just slightly in size, look, and/or color from the wood carving shown in the picture because each carving is handcrafted and hand painted by individual artists.
