An African Olive Wood Warthog!

A hand carved African Warthog carved by a tribesman of the Maasai (Masai) Mare tribe in Kenya, this beautiful wooden animal carving is a wonderful little item. Set in the natural toned colors of the olive wood which makes this a truly beautiful hand carved wooden Warthog. Olive wood is found throughout the African continent but used mainly by the Kenya artist to make their carvings.

The wooden Warthog has been polish to a smooth finish and layered with a natural resin to finish off the little guy. As this olive wood Warthog is hand carved there may be slight variances from one warthog to the next compared with the picture, this adds to the uniqueness of each carved African animal.
